THE BOLD WORDS OF PASMA PRESIDENT 2011 ON NATIONALISATION OF MINES

Greetings to all in the name of his imperial majesty Haile Sellasie I

The phenomenon of our political tranformation and its pace or trend to us Africans obviously should raise simple questions such as, where to now?

It is a question that can only be directed to someone who is entrusted with leadership responsibilities.
Various leaders from variety of political groups in any country may find this simple question so attractive. In the sense that all might seem so much ready to excercise their political responsilities and to out shine one another. It is this kind of a question that might create a sense of a need for a regime change, leadership change and change of political tune in general. It is the simple question that is capable of sparking a civil war, international war, mental and other kinds of wars.

Scholars from universities and colleges including those who retired and those in practice will attempt to respond to this simple question. beer halls and churches shall have endless debate on how to provide a correct answer to this kind of a question. All attempts shall be made within the concept of patriotism and intelligence parade.
It is explicit that all who feel and see themselves as leaders or deems fit for them to be so called will be interested in this simple question. This question will surely be so interesting even to the lay persons.

Some amongst us will point at the USSR, some China and some saying we should go to Venezuela. Yet a friendly african view, pointing at Zimbabwe because is so nearer. All in search for the answers on how to implement Nationalisation of mines. The question was raised by a lay persons' desires to see economic freedom during their life time.
those who talk or suggest Nationalisation of mines are simply refering to socialism. It is the source of the question that matters and not the persons or the status of the persons who ask it. The source of this simple question is the lack of social services such as access to quality education, health and other services like housing or the so called settlement. The most precious and commercialised resource that a lay person has a birth right to is obviously his/her mother land. The land will never be of any significance unless one understand its scientific value.
Nationalisation of mines is the right way to go. It is the right way to go, simply because even a lay person can understand that it contains reasonable economic logistics to offer or supply as solutions to these social services in context. Nationalisation of mines is not just a rude political approach as it sounds or made to sound by those who oppose it or their agents including the media. It is simply as it is, the realisation of our birth right during our life time. It sounds rude maybe when one talk of it as economic freedom during our life time yet it is not a rude or big thing to ask or where needs be it being demanded by us by virtue of it absence.

How do we get there?

Emplimentation of nationalisaion is one and only simple question which we ussually confront in our campus corridors and corridors of media houses and other agents of the opposition. Those who own the means of production obviously should be expected to find this concept of nationalisation of mine being rude. They have many discouraging questions to ask us, such as, what happened with the USSR? who do you think you are? don't you think nationalisation of mines is bad news? most of these negative questions will be based on the rise and the fall of the USSR. We are ARICANS AND PEOPLE SHOULD STOP ASKING US RUSSIAN QUESTIONS WHEN WE SEEK AFRICAN ANSWERS.

The russian economic, soci and political events and other experience is one that worth to be given respect. it is an experience which involved a lot of human sacrifice, hard working, intellectual hardship and large volume of political talent. A lot of contribution did't go without being noticed by the world but mostly by the imperialist. The capitalists so wish that the history of the USSR could be deleted from the books of history because it brought a balance in the political arena. People now are able to make comparison between capitalism and other economic systems. It is not easy to ignore the contribution that karl marx and the unsang heroes brought to this world.
We continue to ask ourselves if we can achieve nationalisation of mines without a strong nation in tact or a one nation state in tact. It is from this economic premise that we cannot find it easy or possible to even imagine ourselves as a one nation state. Some amongst us still dream of volkstad and homelands because of their negative economic and political ambitions.
we then learn a need to make sure that this nationalisation of mines must go hand in glove with the verification of a one nation state. Is it a black national ecomic revolution or white national economic revolution or is it both or just a national economic revolution. and thus president Mbeki spoke of a two nations state of blacks and whites going side by side in a parallel form.

Okay! then how do we impliment this nationalisation of mines?

Recommendation

Out of 100%, the proposal is that 30% should be shared by the ordinary mine workers who dig the mine and the other 30% must go to the state. the state must come with a way of allocating it to its needs depending on its priorities.

Follow this example

Education 10%
Healthg 12%
Housing 8%

conclusion

"Be rest asured that you can't beat HIV and AIDS unless you nationalise the mines" (Rasvusi the great)

It is the realisation of our birth right and if needs be we shall contnue to fight for it forever.
Robert sobukwe said, "...a genuine struggle for the liberation of the human race has no time limit"
